Redecorating Your North Shores Home After the Holidays

Dedecorating Your North Shores Home
Christmas is going to be here in just a few short days. When the beloved holiday we all cherish so much is over, it can feel a bit sad packing up all the decorations.

But oftentimes people forget to focus on all the winter decorating that can still make their house feel like a home. And not all “Christmas” decorations need to be packed up—some can be repurposed for winter! Take a look at your North Shore home and decide which items are truly “Christmasy” and which can be repurposed into a beautiful winter decoration.

For example, sparkly silver or gold decorations can be just as much for winter (with snow and how it glistens) as it is for Christmas. Red can also work well for winter, as long as the Santas and greenery are no longer involved. Lanterns are another theme that can really last the whole winter long and don’t have to be holiday or Christmas specific. Snowmen of course can carry all winter through as long as they aren’t wearing Santa hats.

You may not have enough decorations in one color to spread across your entire house, but you can do small vignettes of one color in a specific area of your home (for example silver or gold) and in another area of your North Shores home, vignettes of another color (red or blue).

Now that the Christmas season is over, are you considering listing your North Shores home so you can find one better suited for your family? I’m an experienced North Shores real estate agent and would be happy to help you find what you need in this area. There are still a variety of homes on the market, and some of them are offered at a great value since it is still far enough before spring. Give me a call today and I would be happy to assess your needs and learn of the characteristics that would make a house a “dream home” for you!
