North Shores Post-Holiday Events

Don't Miss the Indoor Farmer's Market Starting Jan. 10 in Evanston, IL
The holidays are officially coming to a close and it is almost the start of a new year. Perhaps one of your New Year’s resolutions involves getting out of your North Shores home more often to enjoy the culture that if available to you across the North Shores area. Whether you enjoy sports, art, theatre or anything in between—you are sure to find it all within a very close distance from your suburban home.

Here are a few ideas of upcoming North Shores’ events.

Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular
On January 8, we are celebrating the “King’s” 80th birthday at the Center Theatre at North Shore Center in Skokie, IL with an annual concert. This exciting event will feature the musical career of Elvis Presley and shift through the songs era by era. Tickets range from $22-51 each.

The Odd Couple Play
January 8 through February 22, the comedy The Odd Couple will be performed at the Oil Lamp Theatre in Glenview, IL. This play features two mismatched roommates, which leads to a number of hilarious antics.  The cost of the performance is $35 a person.

Indoor Farmers and Artisan Food Market
On January 10 at the EvanstonEcology Center in Evanston, IL there will be over 30 vendors at the indoor farmer’s market where they will be selling fresh produce and meats. This venue has hours from 9am-1pm every Saturday from January 10 until April 25 (when it becomes warm enough for an outdoor farmer’s market).
